Research Areas

I strive to gain insights into the psychological mechanisms that drive people to invest effort in certain behaviors. Rooted in differential psychology, my research to date has focused on group interaction and perception, with a particular emphasis on right-wing authoritarianism. I have also examined how everyday experiences relate to tendencies toward conspiratorial thinking. For my PhD project, I aim to shed light on how belief systems shape social behavior and well-being using longitudinal (ESM) and experimental approaches. In the long term, I seek to evaluate strategies that foster favorable belief systems through interventions.
